Abstract: Those working with international students will encounter challenges that may bring them face to face with unseen realities that they do not recognize or that they feel unprepared to deal with. Students coming from idolatrous religions or dedicated to philosophies based on lies may need special help in yielding to Christ. The authority and ability to be victorious in spiritual battles belong to the body of Christ by reason of our identity in Christ. In this seminar we will explore two kinds of battles in which we in ISM need to be spiritually ready for the task: (1) resisting Satan’s attacks against ourselves; and (2) enabling followers of Christ to become free from the spiritual bondage that has roots in their past.
